You’ve read our reviews but are not sure you want to sit 8 hours in a classroom. We have taken our training and packaged it into a two part training class which allows for greater flexablity in how you train!
Part 1: You attend an instructor led Zoom class in the comfort of your own home. Upon completion you will recieve a link that will allow you to register for Part 2, which will be held the following Sunday, time and location is tenative and depending on how many attend Part 1.
Part 2: This will take place at either at The Firing Line on Ford Rd or our classroom in Westland. You will be taught the range and safety rules, we will check your grip and make sure you’re following safety protocols, then you will go onto the range and go through the 30 round course of fire. At the end of Part 2 you will recieve your Certificate of Completion that will allow you to apply for your CPL. Seats are limited for Part 2 (Any no shows will be assessed a $25 fee to reschedule.)
Restricted weapons:
Any Rifle Caliber Pistol AR15/AK47 Draco (.223/5.56/7.62)
Revolvers (Due to time contraints)
Costs and additonal fees:
Course cost is $37 (That covers Part 1 and Part 2)
Range fee is an additonal $12 (Paid to us the day you attend part 2)
Gun Rental fee is $30 (Includes Ammo) If you don’t have a gun

I am an average American with a love for firearms and a passion for the Second Amendment! Like you, I found myself trying to find “CPL Classes near me” and settled on one of the cheapest firearms training classes near me I could find. That was a big mistake! While my instructors were both Police officers and very knowledgeable, they were bound by their association to keep within the guidelines of that association’s training regiment. I left that class with more questions than answers and spent the next few months looking for those answers.
I realized the need for CPL/CCW insurance early and bought a plan from the USCCA and some time later the USCCA began to offer their own CPL training. They are 100% geared towards concealed carrier permit holders and their course reflects that and also allows me the flexibility to add to the curriculum where I feel it necessary. I finally decided to partner with the USCCA to become an instructor and my goal is to make sure NO student ever leaves my class confused and/or questioning what the laws are in Michigan leaving them vulnerable to legal troubles.
Our CPL classes are NOT “Tacti-cool”! You won’t learn how to kick down doors and clear rooms, It is my job to teach you conflict avoidance through situational awareness, basic handgun skills, and most importantly, how to stay out of prison if you ever have to brandish or fire your gun in self defense! I also aim to provide you the most comprehensive CPL training possible!
