Advanced firearms training
Owning a firearm doesn’t make you safe! Knowing how to use it does. Our advanced firearms classes will help you develop skills necessary to survive an attack.
These classes will progress through basic accuracy, holster draw and shooting faster while maintaining accuracy and progress up to moving and shooting and engaging multiple targets and more. Classes are limited to 6 students. The smaller class sizes allow for a safer, more comfortable atmosphere while also allowing more one on one time with the instructor.
Each class will start with 1 hour of classroom instruction at our facility on Warren Rd. in Westland, then you will go to The Firing Line on Ford Rd. in Westland, where we will have a private range allowing us to go beyond the normal line of fire and perform more advanced techniques not allowed during normal range rentals. The range time will consist of 2 hours and 150 rounds of ammo.
After completing your range time you will return to MCTA for a 1 hour mini class in Tactical Medicine (Stop the Bleed)

- Eye and Ear Protection
- Gun Belt
- Gun
- OWB Holster
- 3 Magazines (Preferred)
- Magazine Pouches (Optional)
- 150 Rounds of Ammo
- Closed Toe Shoes
- Proper Shooting Attire
Meet your instructor
Kyle Delaney
Kyle is owner of Omega Defense USA and teaches our Advanced Shooting classes and Tactical Medicine class, “Stop the Bleed”. Kyle served in the Marines as a Platoon Sniper and was also an Instructor in Tactical Marksmanship, Close Combat and Combat Hunter. While in the Marines, he served in Afghanistan and Iraq from 2007-2012 and received many accommodations including a Purple Heart!
Upon leaving the Marines, he went on to Defense Contracting and provided Security for high profile government officials and served in many other Security roles in Israel, Iraq and several other nations throughout Central Africa.
After he left defense contracting, he served with the Detroit Police Department and is now in transit security. And Kyle is NOT just another pretty face with a bad assed background! He also holds an Associates degree in Thermodynamics, an MPH (Masters Public Health), as well as a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science!
Kyle is highly trained in all types of weapon platforms, from pistols, rifles (including Sniper), shotguns, and a wide array of automatic military weapons. He has a wealth of firearms knowledge and military tactics including his experience securing high value people and equipment which makes him the perfect person to learn tactics and techniques that will help keep you safe in the civilian world!
